The roughness measuring instrument uses the touch needle method. When the measuring needle scans on the measured workpiece, the up and down displacement is formed by the uneven contour of the workpiece surface, so that the signal is generated in the sensor and output. The signal output by the sensor is processed to form digital information and uploaded to PC for calculation and processing.
The surface profiler uses the rectangular coordinate measurement method, that is, the coordinate points of the surface contour of the measured parts are mapped through the x-axis and z-axis sensors, and the coordinate point data measured by the sensor is transmitted to the PC through the electrical components. The software carries out mathematical operation on the collected original coordinate data and marks the required engineering measurement items.
